Jordi asked me to make a piece of jewellery for his partner, Neus. He wanted it to signify Pedraforca, a symbolic place for both of them, because apart from being climbers they are both from Berguedà. So, rather timidly, I suggested he went on a trip to Pedraforca to bring me back some little stones so I could create a pendant. It’s not easy to fool your partner when you’ve got kids, work and loads of other activities, yet Jordi managed to find a moment to go up there. The result: a piece of jewellery with a great story behind it.
